Itinerary: Shillong (2N) Kaziranga (2N) Nameri (2N) Guwahati (1N)
Day 1
Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati-Shillong (130 Kms / 3 ½ Hrs Drive)
Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport/Station and drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 2
Day 02: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong (60 Kms / 2 Hrs-One Way)
After breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Later return back to Shillong. Evening visit Local markets. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3
Day 03: Shillong - Kaziranga (325 Kms / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in at hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 4
Day 04: Kaziranga
Early morning go for Elephant ride@ 5AM.Return for Breakfast Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 5
Day 05: Kaziranga - Nameri (130 Kms/3 ½ Hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Nameri. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight at Nameri.
Nameri National Park:
Covering an area of 200sq.kms, it is situated in the District of Sonitpur; the Nameri is the third National Park of Assam. It is a Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The inaccessibility and continuity with the neibouring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. There is a good prey base in the form of Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and Gaur. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for Tiger and Leopards.Day 6
Day 06: Nameri
Today early morning at about 05.30 a.m, we set to explore the park on foot (3.2kms), after the trek back to the camp. After having breakfast go for an exclusive rafting (mild rapids) trip on Jia – Bhoreli River, flowing along the National Park, for water birds. Return back to the camp. Overnight stay at camp.
Day 7
Day 07: Nameri - Guwahati (250kms/ 5hrs)
After Breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati. Check in at Hotel. Later visit Kamakhya Temple, Sankardev Kalakhetra. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 8
Day 08: Departure
After Breakfast drive to Guwahati Airport /Station. Tour Ends Here With Sweet Memories.
